Are you a skilled handyman who’s confident working on a ladder? We’re looking for an experienced handyman who is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors. You’ll handle tasks like gutter cleaning, siding repair, shutter reattachment, soffit replacement, and holiday light installation—often on 3-story townhomes. This is not a roofing job, but we do need someone who’s steady and capable at heights.

Candidates must also have 10+ years of experience across at least 5 trade disciplines, such as drywall repair, carpentry, painting, minor/out-of-wall electrical and plumbing, flooring, concrete, finish carpentry, masonry, welding, and more. Ideal candidates will have their own ladders and a strong background in home repairs, both inside and out.

Service Area:

This position primarily serves the Eastern Shore of Maryland, from Rock Hall to Cambridge and from Kent Island to the Delaware state line.
On occasion, you may be asked to assist with jobs in Annapolis or southern Delaware.

  • Enjoys home repairs and is comfortable working on ladders up to 3 stories

  • Owns ladders and tools appropriate to your trade skills

  • Has a reliable truck or van that is presentable and suitable for transporting tools and materials

  • Takes pride in craftsmanship and customer service

  • Wants consistent hours, a stable paycheck, and a great work culture

  • Brings ladder competency to the team—a skill set we are currently missing

  • Can pass a background check

Required Experience & Skill Set:

We are seeking a highly experienced handyman with 10+ years of hands-on experience across at least 5 different trade disciplines. Candidates should be confident working independently on a wide range of repair and improvement tasks both inside and outside the home.

You must have proven proficiency and practical experience in at least five of the following areas:

  • Carpentry (rough and finish)

  • Drywall repair and finishing

  • Painting (interior/exterior)

  • Minor electrical (non-structural/out-of-wall)

  • Minor plumbing (non-structural/out-of-wall)

  • Flooring installation or repair

  • Concrete patching or flatwork

  • Masonry or brick repair

  • Gutter and downspout work

  • Siding and shutter repair

  • Light fixture installation or holiday lighting

  • Welding or metalwork

Tools & Equipment:

Candidates are expected to own tools appropriate to the trades they claim expertise in. You don’t need every tool under the sun, but you should come equipped with the tools necessary to complete the types of jobs you're hired to perform—both safely and professionally.

Compensation: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
